2024 What can be said?

I have neglected this site because there seem to be few visitors and fewer responses, but I'll keep it going as some kind of record.

Three releases this year, one of which is a remake. More was planned but I have been sick several times.

"Child of the Stars" is a set of lyrics half done some time ago but never set to music. Happy with this one.

"The more" came from setting a fresh, complete lyric with an AI generator, dislking teh music but liking the vibe of one version which I imitated with new music. Intentionally a "pop song with chorus", this may now be getting used for a theatrical production that is a satirical take on Eurovision. I am sanguine about my song being at partly ridiculous, this seems fitting. I do like this song though.

"Swerve" was preciously released in December 2023 but I got to thinking the electric 12 string guitars were a bit too dominant and everpresent so this is a remake. Fixed the bass part in the process and in doing so identified why I felt the vocal was a bit awkward rythmically - the bass was undercutting its syncopation - much better now.

All these are on Bandcamp as well as Spotify and all the other streaming services.
